How to: Temple PuzzleBox


Not so long ago, I seriously thought about putting the games on the playmarket myself. There are already enough unfinished projects on my computer that have accumulated enough to burn with shame, as I cannot complete them. But the moment came and I realized that it was time to get down to business.

First, I would like to share with you a straightforward game of type 3 in a row .. and so far the only one.

At first I was stupid for a long time with the main menu of the game. Somehow it does not work at all. But gathering willpower into a fist something came out

The game itself is that the player needs to destroy a certain number of blocks of a certain color. The player controls the character with the arrows. The very same character can jump, push boxes forward or pull over.

Here is the main gameplay. A character appeared and let's push the cubes back and forth.


Initially, only the 3D version of the game was conceived, where you had to walk in two planes. But suddenly it seemed a little and it was decided to add 2D mode and Sokoban mode.

The main problem of development was that I tried to write everything from scratch, instead of using ready-made solutions.

But having rummaged in the unit store, I found a framework that took as the basis of my game - GameFramework from the company flipwebapps (here it is: http://www.flipwebapps.com/)

The toy itself was not very big - only 60 levels. However, I will continue to refine it and release updates. Play, writeyour reviews and ratings. I will be very pleased.
